MISSING Season 3 Episode 8

Because Agent Janey Cooper (Alex Appel) is finally off the show. I'm sure Appel is a fine actress, but her character was more annoying than Omarosa.





Why 'cleverly plotted'? Well, the last few episodes they've been making it seem that Agent Cortez was leaving the show. Now normally I wouldn't be taken in by such a plot device, but this is Lifetime (the channel for women) so the idea of replacing a male lead with a female lead (Agent Cooper) didn't seem too far fetched. In fact, they spent the better part of the season, thus far, developing the Agent Cooper character and her affinity for all things technical - not unlike Agent Cortez. Combine that with the "Antonio!" screams in the episode advertisements and I really thought I was going to be stuck with Cooper.





So thanks to the writers for surprising me. And here's hoping the death of Cooper and the dissolvement of the Agent Scott/Agent Cortez romance leads to more serious drama!
