When Andy is doing his big speech in the courtroom, he's wearing spicy pants. But eariler on, when he's booing Kevin, he's wearing jeans.
The cartoon that Andy was making at the beginning of the episode was of a man inside a toilet saying, "Nice place you got here."
This is the one episode that series co-creator Bill Oakley will not let his kids see.
First appearance of C-Dog.
Scott Menville also does the voice of Christoper Dodge aka: C-Dog as well as Kevin French
Kevin: I was looking at smut. If I tell the truth, people will think I'm a pervert.
Andy: (Sarcastic) Oh, like me. Yeah, you wouldn't want people to think you're like me. Dirty old horny McWhack-whack. Far better you should send two innocent people to jail.
Kevin: They're not entirely innocent.
Andy: You started that fire? Kevin, those two guys are going to jail.
Kevin: Well, they shouldn't have robbed the store.
Andy: They took fifty-three dollars. And they could get a life sentance for attempted murder.
Kevin: I never said they set me on fire.
Andy: You never said they didn't.
Andy: Gus! Wally! Doesn't Jim look gay in those?
Gus: No self-respecting gay man would be caught dead in those.
Andy: Hey Kevin, Hitler's on the phone. He wants his haircut back.
Andy: I'm Andy French, and I'm Kevin's brother.
Judge: Did you say lover?
Andy: Brother!
Judge: Oh, cause those pants make you look gay.
Gus: (slaming hands down) They're not Gay!
Andy: (groaning) Can't I just have the Anus Bar?
This is the first time we see Kevin's love of Yale.
The creators said that Griffo and C-Dogs names were inspired by graffiti kids sprayed on a dumpster and you can see the graffiti that inspired the names on the walls of buildings Andy passes by in the beginning of the series.
In this episode we find out that Gus admires David Niven and Wally admires Broderick Crawford.
This was actually the third episode produced, but the second to air.
The Balif in the back of the courtroom resembles Moose from the TV series Nightcourt.
The title "Porno for Pyro" is a play on the punk band Porno for Pyros.
