The tape recorder that Jim listens to at the outdoor theater has almost no tape on the play reel. Despite this, it runs for some time, giving Jim his briefing.
When Barney first contacts Jim from the truck, he says there are ten boxes of peanuts. When Willy meets him later, there are fourteen boxes of peanuts. When Barney drops them off at Mel's warehouse, there are nineteen boxes of peanuts.
When Barney opens the can of cocktail peanuts containing the drugs, the pills inside are yellow. However, in the opening credits sequence which supposedly shows scenes from the episode, the pills are red.
In the scene where Barney Collier jumps a moving trailer truck to place some tracking devices on the illegal drug cargo traveling north to cross the border from Mexico to the US, one can easily see the California State Highway Route 14 sign which is about 150 miles north of the border in Santa Clarita Valley north of Los Angeles.
Pusher: Not just kids, eh?
Mel: Uh-uh. Everyone. Happiness, that's what everyone wants, isn't it? Happiness.. and that's what we supply.
Jim: Your move is the most unpredictable, Dana, but it is the key. He'll be tough. He's as strait-laced as they come and he's never had a date with another woman.
Dana: I understand. Really moral. All he does is kill a couple of kids now and then.
Cameron: You know, young lady, you look very familiar.
Dana: Oh, well, do you ever stay up for the late show?
Bunny: Oh, we rarely stay up late for anything.
Was originally to feature a brief scene introducing Dana that would establish she had lost someone to drugs, but was cut when the producers weren't sure the episode would air first (it didn't).
