  • Trivia

    • Trivia: The dossier photos are already assembled when Jim comes in and picks out a newspaper article on General Tamaar.

    • Trivia: Jim picks up his briefing on microfilm reel.

    • When they take the "Rollin mask" off of Skora to reveal his true identity at the end, they go from Martin Landau's blue eyes to Mark Lenard's brown eyes although there are no contact lenses or anything in the mask. Of course, there is no mask, just a cut from Martin Landau to Mark Lenard.

  • Notes

    • Aside from guest-star Mark Lenard (known for playing three roles in Star Trek, including Spock's father, Sarek), this episode includes music from Gerald Fried, a regular composer for Star Trek. Most notably, in the climactic sequence when Barney is trying to brake the truck, a "personal combat" theme heard in TOS (including "Friday's Child") is used almost unaltered.
