Strikingly similar to "The Diamond" in Season 1, "The Money Machine" is still a strong episode, thanks largely to Brock Peters as the corrupt financier. Whenever the IMF had a genuine bad guy to take down, the plot is always more fun to watch, and Peters (forever immortalized as Tom Robinson in "To Kill a Mockingbird") is smug and slimy as the villain of the week.
Once again, the team concocts a "machine" that will give the villain exactly what he wants...or so he thinks. I admit the mechanics of the printer are clever, and so is the ruse the team uses to bring down Peters' guard. It's not a bad show, but it is very reminiscent of the earlier episode.
