Just before the producer/writers/director credit, when the title "Mission: Impossible" is shown the word Impossible initially appears "under" the word Mission, that is the entire word Mission can still be seen. An instant later the rest of the word Impossible appears.
Due to the reuse of "Pilot" episode footage, Briggs' hair becomes longer during the dossier scene then in the preceding and subsequent footage.

When Briggs pulls into the drive-in, the marquee reads, "Geller and Solow in Spend the Money". This was an in-joke reference to the producers' tendency to go over-budget.
Briggs is only present in this episode for the initial sequences. Steven Hill had already left the show: the opening sequences with him were often filmed weeks in advance of the episode they accompanied.
