  • Trivia

    • Just before the producer/writers/director credit, when the title "Mission: Impossible" is shown the word Impossible initially appears "under" the word Mission, that is the entire word Mission can still be seen. An instant later the rest of the word Impossible appears.

    • Due to the reuse of "Pilot" episode footage, Briggs' hair becomes longer during the dossier scene then in the preceding and subsequent footage.

  • Quotes

    • Vornitz: I never know if you are stacking the deck or whether I'm getting a fair deal.
Lowell: What's the difference? You lose anyway.

  • Notes

    • The dossier scene with Briggs is taken from the Pilot episode.

    • When Briggs pulls into the drive-in, the marquee reads, "Geller and Solow in Spend the Money". This was an in-joke reference to the producers' tendency to go over-budget.

    • Briggs is only present in this episode for the initial sequences. Steven Hill had already left the show: the opening sequences with him were often filmed weeks in advance of the episode they accompanied.
