    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • After Phelps anounces it, we hear the airplane that will produce the sonic boom that breaks the glass. Since supersonic aircraft fly faster than sound, it is impossible to hear one before it passes.

    • QUOTES (4)

      • Guard: Special convoy number 43 is at the main entrance, General.
        Malek: They're late.
Brenner: If it were not for the Premier's desire that we work in a culturally-satisfying environment, I would not care if they never arrived. Works of art are for a museum, not for a nuclear reactor complex!

      • Brenner: I have no time for discussion of abstract art.
Jim: It is not abstract art, it is cubist!
Brenner: Whatever. I have neither the time nor the inclination to continue this ridiculous discussion.

      • Malek: I would not judge General Brenner too harshly, Mr Bocunsky. He's not artistically inclined.
Jim: Yes, I know the General's type very well. He is the kind of man who would refer to a concert violist as a fiddler.

      • Malek: The time has run out for me.
Wai Lee: No, no it has not.
Malek: Yes, I cannot postpone death any longer.
Wai Lee: But you do not have to die, not now.
Malek: Yes, I do. There is no other way.
Wai Lee: I do not understand you.
        Malek: You will.
