This was a brilliant idea, kids all over the world part of some crime fighting network, carrying around computer books to keep in contact with eachother and having James Bond style gadgets to help them out.
Nowadays you can keep in contact via a mobile phone, but in its time, it was fascinating and I really wanted to be a part of it, the plots were sometimes pretty stupid, the same bad guy every episode and one by one they get caught, escape, get caught again, get rescued, solve the mystery, stop Neville Savage from whatever he was doing this time and then celebrated, but I still found it entertaining and fun to watch.
Set mainly in Australia where their base was, each adventure had the kids going all over the world, usually tricking their stupid uncle into taking them (how are people that thick?)the main kids Albert and Vicky would meet up with other members of the Centauri gang who were having problems, usually to do with Savage (who always got away at the end of every episode)and then via their computer book keep reporting back to poor Gemma constantly stuck in the control room and who knew how to use the giant computer, and delinquent Spike, who was usually just trouble.
Usually the computer would come up with interesting facts about the places they were, to add a slight educational angle, but the kids would usually ignore it, sneak away and go on their Mission Top Secret.moreless
