Episode Recap

Rogers has a bag of plastic pellets. That is the "raw" material used to make dolls in a factory. He goes to the doll factory to meet Stan and Joe. Joe, the superintendent, takes Rogers on the tour to show how dolls are made. Most of the workers had played with dolls as children, and many workers think of the children who will play with the dolls being manufactured. Joe gives Rogers two dolls at the end of the tour. In the NOM, the Factory is remodeling its assembly line. X the Owl has sold an order for King Friday dolls, so Corny wants to get started on that, too. Corny has Handyman Negri building the line, sorting the package labels, and affixing the labels on the boxes. Corny gives Mr. McFeely a model Friday doll to show the King for approval, which the King gives. Lady Elaine is disgusted because there is no doll with her likeness. X the Owl has more orders for Corny, which overwhelms Handyman Negri. He resigns from helping. Lady Elaine "helps" by rummaging among the boxes of Friday dolls, ready for sabotage. Handyman Negri gives Trolley a check-up. Back at the television house, Mr. McFeely brings a mechanical swimming doll, which he works in a trough of water. Rogers promises that on his next visit, he will talk about the place where he swims. He gives the meaning of the word "survive."
