Rogers shows an otoscope belonging to a pediatrician. She shares with Rogers a desire to tell people about difficult things. Rogers visits the pediatrician's office, where she is giving a checkup to a young girl. After the exam, the girl shows Rogers a hand-clapping exercise, which he tries back at his television house. Rogers tells viewers that doctors can't tell what children are feeling by looking at equipment. In the NOM, Cousin Mary Owl is checking to see which neighbors have cousins. Lady Aberlin explains her cousins (outside Prince Tuesday) are the sons of King Friday's younger brother Paul. Cousin Mary explains she is having a cousins reunion for anyone who is a cousin or has a cousin. Lady Aberlin tells King Friday of the Joneses' adopted daughter. He wants to give a gift: a picture of himself (and a Royal kiss). At Southwood, Dr. Bill gets his first glimpse of Carrie Dell, as Betty and James have named her.
