Rogers opens one of the fortune cookies in his cardboard box. When translated, the message reads, "You will have a visitor." Mr. McFeely brings a videotape on how people make fortune cookies. Rogers offers Mr. McFeely two cookies from the box. In the NOM, Mr. McFeely delivers a small package of fortune cookies to a nonplussed King Friday. Mayor Maggie asks Mr. McFeely about his feelings. The message in Mayor Maggie's fortune cookie says, "You do your work very well." She offers a fortune cookie to Chuck Aber. When he opens it, an almost-entirely-Español-speaking man emerges. He gives fortune cookies to Aber and Mayor Maggie. In turn, they tell him who lives in several places. At Aber's suggestion, Fortune Cookie Man agrees to "knock on the clock." He introduces himself to Daniel. Fortune Cookie Man opens a message for Trolley which, translated, reads "You are on your way to Mister Rogers' place." Back at the television house, Rogers immediately goes to visit the studio of author Eric Carle. He shows how he paints the illustrations for his children's books. Rogers dons a smock to help Carle on an illustration. Carle shows Rogers his book Head to Toe, which includes paintings of animals such as a seal. He gives Rogers the books.
