Rogers plays a battery-powered toy piano. He recalls the way his piano teacher helped him learn to play. Mr. McFeely shows a video on how people make "vacuum sweepers."
Nighttime in the NOM finds Lady Elaine emerge with her boomerang, tiring herself out. She dreams of handling a vacuum sweeper (acted out by an unidentified large-sized Fairchilde). When she wakes, Lady Elaine tells Handyman Negri she will rid the Neighborhood of vacuum sweepers. The first to fall prey is Chuck Aber. He knows better about vacuum sweepers, as does Negri, who goes to talk it over with King Friday in the Castle's Q room.
Back at the real neighborhood, Rogers visits Negri's Music Shop (the model pan stops at the former Brockett's Bakery). Joseck, the head of Jabali Afrika, explains the first of their songs. All of the band members show how to correctly play the instruments. They perform The Mama Song and Tree, Tree, Tree for Rogers.
Before he leaves, Rogers says that all people are part of one family, and that we all have to get along. (By chance, this show aired during the star-crossed '96 Olympics.)
Songs: Won't You Be My Neighbor?, Speedy Delivery To You, The Mama Song (Jabali Afrika), Tree, Tree, Tree, Good Feeling.
