    Fred Rogers shows viewers the television studio and introduces some of the people who help make Mister Roger's Neighborhood. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, a solution to the "pipe or pool" problem is found when Neighbors find they can share Westwood's pool.

    Mister Rogers takes a field trip to to the US Postal Service to see how people design and make stamps. There's a heat wave in Make-Believe and the neighbors are trying to keep cool. Handyman Negri delivers the Annual Report to King Friday. There's extra money in the budget and Lady Elaine wants to use it for brushes to paint the museum, but King Friday has other ideas - he's planning to use it for the spectacular addition of a swimming pool.moreless

    Rogers makes a wind chime out of straws and shows a video of people making straws. Collette visits the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Privately, Daniel is upset because he doesn't have a grandfather.

    Mister Rogers takes the Neighborhood Trolley to a trolley museum. He rides one of the restored trolleys in one direction and pilots it back to the starting point. Back at the television house, Mister Rogers shows the controls with which he operates the Trolley. As Make-Believe starts, the Trolley and everyone else is surprised with another trolley whose name (translated from French) means "Grandparents' Express." It has a message for Grand-père: his granddaughter Colette is visiting.moreless

    In the ultimate reality check, Mister Rogers reveals his television house is part of a television studio, as viewers glance at some of the technical crew and the musicians. Rogers also shares pictures of his days as puppeteer of The Children's Corner in the 1950s.
    The Neighborhood of Make-Believe finishes the new underground system of water pipes. While others are working on their disappointments, Westwood Mayor Maggie has good news in store for everyone.moreless

    Mister Rogers takes viewers to the U.S. Postal Service headqaurters for an inside look and engraving and printing stamps. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe issues its annual report of services to neighbors. It turns out they have a surplus of 3,000 (no monetary unit attached).
