Mr. Rogers plays a Xylophone to express various moods. He goes to the studio of Jean Wilmouth, a percussionist. Mr. Wilmouth plays on the marimba, the tambourine, and the tom-tom.
In the NOM, Daniel is showing the magic kite how to play the xylophone. The kite tries to play. Lady Aberlin plays a sad melody because she misses the king and queen who are still on their honeymoon. The kite has a message, "They will come back Friday." Lady Aberlin tells Robert Troll the news. He has been very sad and doesn't believe the message. Then Edgar Cooke delivers a Make-Believegram to him. This confirms the kite's message. Back with Mr. Rogers, he talks about using play to express feelings.
