This episode shows a rarely-used camera angle from inside the trolley tracks by King Friday's castle.
Mister Rogers: You know, going to school is like discovering a whole new place. In fact, everytime you go back, you have the chance of discovering something else--something you didn't know before.
This would be Donkey Hodie's last appearance until 1990.
This is the first episode of the "new" Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, and a lot has changed in three years. For one thing, Prince Tuesday and Ana Platypus have grown considerably.
For the first time, one of Mister Rogers' visits to other parts of the neighborhood is videotaped on location.
The neighborhood school becomes a permanent part of the model neighborhood seen at the beginning and end of each program from now to the series' end.
For this and the next 39 shows, no episode number is displayed. All the programs from 1969 to 1976 ended with a still picture of the trolley and a sign bearing the episode number. With theme weeks displayed at the beginnings of all subsequent shows, the need for episode numbers was somehow dimmed. The use of episode numbers would be reinstated in late June 1982.
