Episode Recap

Rogers enters with a toy elephant. He takes a call from Joe Negri, inviting him to the Music Shop. Negri is giving a guitar lesson to three boys. Rogers hears Negri and all the boys play Everybody's Fancy. Ben, one of the students, says he first learned the C chord. They discuss building a chord from one note to three, and then join in There Are Many Ways To Say "I Love You" (Rogers sings along). Unexpectedly, Helena takes a call from her upset boy, Matthew. Negri encourages Helena to leave the shop to attend to her boy. Rogers assists Negri at the display case. After Negri sells a melodica, he and Rogers play It's You I Like. Rogers enlists Negri to imagine the NOM. In the NOM, Handyman Negri gives a C major guitar scale lesson to Prince Tuesday when the King appears. King Friday says he must go to another neighborhood for some work. Queen Sara immediately follows, saying she must appear at a Food for the World office. Princess Zelda shows up. Tuesday regrettably tells her both the King and Queen are unavailable. Handyman Negri directs Princess Zelda to the C Room, and Prince Tuesday agrees to meet them there. Princess Zelda marvels at all the things in the room that start with C. Prince Tuesday directs Princess Zelda to the crowns and cranberry candy. Handyman Negri shows Princess Zelda to the costume rack. Most of the costumes they recognize, came from the play Josephine the Short-0Neck Giraffe. Handyman Negri and Princess Zelda put on the elephant heads and start singing the song We Are Elephants, but only two verses. Prince Tuesday doesn't feel like playing. He is mad because the King and Queen work all the time and isn't with him. Princess Zelda gets Handyman Negri to share in improvising a song called Nobody Likes It. Back at Negri's Music Shop, Negri relieves Rogers (it's not that busy). He gives Rogers a melodica. Before Rogers leaves, Negri tells him that Natasha the oboist will visit later in the week. At the television house, Rogers says to viewers that, if they can talk about what bothers them, they will feel better.
