A month and a half before this program aired, all Mister Rogers' Neighborhood broadcasts had their old PBS closing IDs replaced with the 3-D animation adopted by the network in 1989.
This was the only time post-75 that Rogers invited one of his on-camera neighbors to help think of a Neighborhood of Make-Believe segment.
