Rogers wears a peanut lei, which a friend has made. As he waits for Mr. McFeely, he shows a water-and-oil solution of different colors (something we would see again in Show #1692). Rogers starts to read E.B. Browning's How Do I Love Thee? when Mr. McFeely brings a videotape of people making peanut butter. It starts off with planting the peanuts.
In the NOM, Queen Sara shares with Lady Aberlin her distress of being at work a great deal. Corny alerts Lady Aberlin to the Factory. One of his employees has brought her baby to work because she couldn't find a sitter. Princess Zelda arrives with peanuts just as Corny introduces Hilda Dingleboarder and her daughter Daphne (nicknamed D.D.). Hilda mentions to Zelda and Lady Aberlin the Factory's work on "Peanut Rockits," rocking chairs to eat peanuts in. Lady Aberlin lets Henrietta see Daphne. Henrietta asks that the Factory start a care center for the children of the Factory's workers. Returning to the Factory, Lady Aberlin rocks in the Peanut Rockit with Princess Zelda. Both of them, along with Henrietta, give Corny the idea for a caring center. Corny will provide the care center with Peanut Rockit chairs.
Back at the television house, Rogers sings I'm Taking Care Of You and invites viewers to sing during the instrumental break. Mr. McFeely calls to say he will bring something else. While waiting, Rogers plays I'm Taking Care Of You on the melodica. Mr. McFeely shows up with a flower lei he had picked up at the library's arts and crafts display. Rogers shows McFeely the water-and-oil art.
