I liked the first season, although it was a little bit too short (only 6 eps)
Season 1 was some very good writing and acting.
Hopefully the same standard will apply in season 2.
I liked the character of Max Brown (Sam Grey). Don't know if he will be back in season 2...

Season 1 was TV gold!! Great writing, dynamic characters, it was like a darker, revitalized "Desperate Housewives" with a little less comedy and more introspection with the characters.
However, Season 2 started a bit dull for me. I didn't like that they totally erased Katie's and Jessica's storylines - both women are in TOTALLY different phases in their life in the S2 premiere with no mention of the things and people that happened to them in S1. But Trudi and Siobhan continue their stories .. one ends nicely and one pretty tragically.

Once again, Mistresses got VERY good again in mid-season and picked up. Even Katie's blah storyline got interesting towards the end with Siobhan and Jessica's being the best. Sadly, I watched the finale totally unaware it was a finale and didn't realize how "final" everything was until it ended. I hope this isn't the end, considering there is a character whose life changes pretty dramatically in the finale...

    Here's hoping for Season 3!
