  • And now the end..

I think second part was better than first one. First maybe it was that the scenery was already build and now it was all taking to the culmination and it really had the motion, the action and a lot of emotions and things happening.

I really loved the darker storylines and the irony in some places and all the way the chars just worked against each other and those monologs Morgana had.

So, in overall I am really happy that I decided to watch this miniserie and it really had a superb atmosphere, magical and mystical. And if you just love books like that.. then the miniserie is just a perfect..moreless

    • Arthur: Our Father may be in heaven, Gwenwyfar... but the Goddess is Great Mother to us all.

    • Arthur: Guinevere and Lancelot. Two people I love most in the world. Do you love me, both of you? Sometimes I think Lancelot is the best of us.
      Lancelot: Up you come.
Arthur: Come, lie beside me. Both of you. I want to talk to you and if drink won't help me say this it will never be said. Guinevere has no child. Don't you think I see how you two look at each other?
      Lancelot: Arthur...
Arthur: No. I will get to the end of this even if I have to command your silence. My wife thinks it's her fault we have no child but I believe it's me. Yes, sometimes the fault lies with the man. Even when that man is king.
Gwenwyfar: Arthur, please do not continue with this.
Arthur: My kingdom needs an heir, my sweet. Otherwise, everything I'm fighting for is lost. A son of yours, Lancelot conceived in the king's bed would be heir to my throne. Better that, than the son of Lot should reign, is it not? Sure, Bishop Patricius would say it was a grievous sin, but I say it's a greater sin to provide no son to inherit my crown and let the kingdom slip into such chaos as there was before my father came to the throne. My friend... my cousin, will you do this for me?

    • Gwenwyfar: Tell me you are not a witch. Tell me it is not the devil's own spell... and that I will not burn for it. This time, this one time... I will believe you.

    • Morgaine: A new and dreadful power was unleashed. And the fate of all Britain was altered forever. It was as if my life had become lost in the mists. Everything that I loved and cherished was gone. I thought there was nothing more that could be taken from me. How wrong I was.
