The Heavyarms in Trowa's flashback looks the same as the upgraded Heavyarms Kai. Kajime had redesigned Heavyarms for "Endless Waltz," but it not seen here.
Late in the movie when Heero shows up over Marimeia's fortress the damaged Wing Zero Custom has its immense twin buster rifle with it. How is this possible? When the Wing Zero Custom was fighting the Nataku Custom in space it never had its buster rifle anywhere. So how could it possibly have it now?
It's safe to rule out the Transformers subspace theory. It's possible that Heero left the weapon on Earth, but the chances of it being anywhere near Marimeia's fortress are slim to impossible.
So the goof still remains. How the heck did that happen?
The title of episode 1: "The Shooting Star She Saw" is alliteration. Alliteration is a literary device in which several words with the same sound or letter are used in this case it would be the letter 'S'.
On the English dub, when Relena is walking down the steps to her birthday party, you can hear the faint voice of lady saying "I bet Martha Stewart would be jealous of this."
At the end of the previous episode, Heero tells Relena: "I'll kill you." But in this episode's recap, he says: "I'll destroy you."
In episode 3, Duo is seen talking on a payphone outside the hospital where Heero is being held. Duo talks about two broke pull carts, meeting someone for lunch at the back of the wheat field and thrashing wheat later--obviously they are speaking in code. The two broke pull carts refer to the gundams and the "wheat field" being the meeting point.
After Heero sets his broken bone, he uses a wrench as a makeshift splint to stabilize the injury.
When Heero is injured, and lying on the table in the medical building his arm is bleeding. Toonami edited the blood out, but they seem to have forgotten to edit out the dripping noise from it dripping onto the floor.
Zechs and Noin attended the Lake Victoria Military Academy together, where they graduated at the top of their class.
When Catherine throws her last knives, you can see that one of them was very close and that all Trowa does is break a sweat. If Catherine was right and Trowa was ready to die, then why would he sweat? And besides, we learn soon after that he would never do so. Additionally, Catherine and Trowa soon confirm that she did hit him. So we can assume that the knife must have skinned Trowa and that the drop of sweat was actually blood that was edited for the American version, thus spoiling the surrealism of the series' main characters.
When battling Zechs, Heero uses Gundam 03 - Heavyarms instead of his own O1 - Wing Gundam.
Master Long in the original (Japanese) version was a woman however in the English dubbed she's a man.
Response to the "sinking" comment: They may have used "sinking" as a figure of speech and not literally sinking.
When Barge is destroyed, Duo comments that "It's sinking," which is rather curious considering there is nothing in outer space to sink into except some large body like a planet, star, or nebula.
When Wufei was fighting the mobile dolls in Zero, there was a scene where his eyes were closed. How is he able to fight while his eyes are closed? Unless the Zero system is telling him what to do.
Through out the series Heavyarms is the only Gundam from Operation Meteor not to get destroyed completely.
in response to above: in gundam wing, the beam weapons all seem to have internal power, because if you look at epyon's beam saber, there is a cable attached to it, one that connects to epyons core. However, thats the only gundam to have such a feature. Plus on a side note, series like 8th MS team take place in an alternate universe.
When Heero is about to destroy the reactor for the portion of Libra that broke off from the main body his beam saber ran out of power before he could do this. Yet when he flies ahead of the Libra piece with his twin buster rifle he manages to fire a devastating blast capable of vaporzing it.
As we've seen with the 08th MS Team series, beam weapons are powered by linking up to the Mobile Suit's internal reactor. If the design is the same with Wing Zero then how come the beam saber died out but the buster rifle could still be fired? Is it possible the connection was fried in combat and finally gave out, or are the weapons of the Wing Gundams powered by a battery source stored in the weapons themselves?
Near the end of the episode gattling rounds attack the wing zero from off screen, the only other mobile suit around being epyon, who doesn't have any gattling cannons or any projectile weapons for that matter......
