Modern Problems in Science

Show Summary

Modern Problems in Science was a 1996 comedy show produced for the Paramount Comedy Channel (now known as Comedy Central) in the UK. The series was based on comedian Rich Fulcher's live show of the same name, which had previously been a huge success at the Edinburgh Festival and in Australia. The show's premise, described as "the world's only completely improvised university lecture", involved "Professor Fulcher" attempting to prove any hypothesis offered up by an audience member. The TV adaptation ran for six episodes and featured guest appearances from Bill Bailey, Rich Hall, Greg Proops, and Sean Cullen.
