Theron "Chico" Benymon would later return to UPN as a cast member of Half & Half.
George Lemore worked with Ray J on the movie Steel.
Moesha point to a door and says that that is where Brenda's room is, but that's where the bathroom is. Also, that space, where the room is supposed to be, is far too small for a bedroom.
The "Gina; Sheneneh" quote is a reference to the characters on the tv show Martin.
Sheryl Lee Ralph was sent away after voicing her dislike of the direction of the series.
This is the final appearance of Yvette Wilson as Andell. She has left and joined the cast of The Parkers.
It's never made clear where Dorian's adopted father is. He must have been there when Sandy got Dorian.
Hakeem states that he will attend California University (to be closer to Moesha). This must mean that he apparently transferred out of Santa Monica College (the same college from "The Parkers"). But if Hakeem was previously enrolled in a two-year college, how could he attend California University so early?
Frank, Dee, and Hakeem say that they want to go see the movies Illuminata, Wild Wild West, and Lockdown, but Lockdown didn't come out until a year later, Illuminata came out the year before, and Wild Wild West didn't come out until the summer of that year.
In this episode, The Pendulum is a club. But in future episodes it's a coffee house.
Dorian has a father according to Frank, but we never see him. In fact he is never mentioned after this episode.
In the scene where Kim and Nikki are choosing courses and go to the "Black Studies" section, the Professor is known as Professor Ogletree (even on his name tag), but in "The Parkers", he is known as Professor Oglevee.
As previously stated, this episode served as a back-door pilot for the future spin-off, "The Parkers." Many speculated that the real reason Countess Vaughn was given her own show was because of the heated rivalry between her and Brandy. If you notice, Brandy is not featured in this episode at all expect for the opening scene that paid homage to "The Twilight Zone."
In the flashback clip of the episode "Niece" in which Dee starts a dance-along at the Den, the original song playing during that scene was "Bounce, Rock, Skate, Roll" by Vaughn Mason and Crew. In this episode, it's replaced by another song.
When Moesha goes to get the birth control pills, she does eventually get them. I don't recall her mentioning receiving any condoms. As soon as she get the pills, she gets ready to have sex with Aaron. There would have still been a chance that she would have gotten pregnant, because pills don't work overnight. They don't protect from STD's either.
EDIT: When Dee talks to Moesha, Moesha tells her that she's been taking the pills for two weeks, which is long enough for the pills to work to avoid pregnancy.
When Moesha puts Miles out of her room, she calls him Matt.
Preceeding this episode was an introduction by Sheryl Lee Ralph and William Allen Young where they point out this 'special episode' and advise to watch it with the whole family. Before the closing credits, the rest of the cast (minus Yvette Wilson) talked about the issues raised and pointed to the 'National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information.
When Niecy, Kim, Hakeem, and Andelle are looking through photos of the party, they try to find a picture that Giselle isn't end. They think they find one, but then say that Giselle's ashy elbow is in the background. Then Niecy says that it was her knee. At the party, Niecy was wearing long pants and we couldn't see her knees.
Christian Coleman appears as Freddie for the last imte on the series. It's never stated what happened to him.
If it's Halloween, why isn't there any mention of Kim's birthday? We later learn that Kim was born on Halloween, when Moesha, Hakeem, and Niecy make guest appearances on The Parkers episode, Scary Kim.
