The episode was as near as perfect as it gets. Ty and Tina "assisting" brain surgery in Afghanistan, while we're subtly informed that they spent at least that night together. Then they go on to save a small baby that was diagnosed by Sidney in a convenience store because of her laughter, which turned out to be a brain tumor. Dr. Sung Park has a conscience but still no intention to learn English properly.
Ty and Sung are called to the stand in 311 but none of them is condemned - humiliated, yes, but Dr. Hooten seemed content with his doctors for once. The most brilliant part was the humilation of Ty. I for one wasn't sure if the soldier survived the risky procedure until Dr. Hooten opened his notebool and they talked to him.
The ending almost ruined it. It was sad when Dr. Park's patient was taken off life support and it was sweet when Tina asked to hold the baby. But when Ty came in and had that look like he was going to run in the opposite direction should Tina ever mention the word BABY in the bedroom, I just felt like: No, don't go there, Monday Mornings. For once, do not make a drama out of a woman wanting a baby! Just let them have a baby with no drama and go on with life. Keep the by-the-way attitude on the doctors' personal lives and don't turn this into a soap opera!
