  • Ted Levine

    Captain Leland Stottlemeyer

    9.3
One of six children of Milton and Charlotte Levine, both physicians, Ted Levine attended elementary school in Bellaire, Ohio, and later briefly attended Marlboro College in Vermont. He began his career as a stage actor in the early 1980s then expanding to television and movies later in that decade. His theatrical career includes performances at Chicago's famed Steppenwolf Theater, most notably as Tilden in Sam Shepard's Buried Child, directed by Gary Sinise.

After heading to Hollywood for a series of movies in the late 1990s, Ted impressed the critics (and at least some viewers) with his complex portrayal of the highly intelligent and deeply compassionate Dr. Robert Banger in ABC's too quickly cancelled Wonderland (2000). His notable film roles include Starbuck in Moby Dick, (1998), Eli Cooperberg in You Can Thank Me Later (1999), and Silas Kincaid in Harlan County War (2000). More recently, he appeared in Birth and The Manchurian Candidate. He will appear in Memoirs of a Geisha this December and has been cast in the starring role of Big Bob Carter in a remake of Wes Craven's thriller The Hills Have Eyes, scheduled to come out in 2006.

Meanwhile, Ted is back on television as Captain Leland Stottlemeyer in USA Network's popular detective series, Monk, also starring Tony Shalhoub and Traylor Howard, who has replaced Bitty Schram as Monk's assistant. • Melora Hardin

    8.9
Melora Hardin is known as one of the stars on The Office, NBC's hit TV show, as Steve Carrell's hard-nosed boss/on again, off again love interest. On the big screen Melora can be seen in Thank You for Smoking, The Hot Chick, Absolute Power and Soul Man to name a few. Acting professionally since the age of six, Melora has done some 14 pilots and guest starred on many TV favorites such as Friends, Gilmore Girls, CSI, Monk, Cover Me, Little House on the Prairie, Quincy, Love Boat and many more. The Rocketeer featured her melodious singing voice, including a beautiful cameo and her soundtrack versions of "Begin the Beguine" and "When Your Lover Has Gone." Melora has also recorded two CDs of original songs, The Melodrama and Purr. Both albums are available at her official website.

Recently, Melora added directing to her resume with the one-woman show, Strip Search, which had a critically acclaimed run at the ACME Comedy Theatre in Los Angeles. Hardin followed that up by directing and starring in the independent feature, You, written by and starring her husband, actor/writer, Gildart Jackson. They plan to submit You to film festivals in 2007. Melora lives in the Los Angeles area with her husband and their two daughters, Rory and Piper. According to DVD commentary on Back to the Future, producer Bob Gale stated that Hardin was cast at one point to play the character of Jennifer Parker. When Michael J. Fox was cast as Eric Stoltz's replacement, Hardin was fired because producers felt she was too tall while on screen with Fox.moreless

  • Noel Guglielmi

    Jose Alverez

    8.6
Born in Orange County, California, Noel Guglielmi's friends call him "Noel G" because of their difficulty in pronouncing his last name (maybe it just has too many vowels and syllables?). His birthday is October 14 but he doesn't state which year on his offical website (www.noelguglielmi.com) - my guess would be somewhere between 1970 and 1983. An only child, Noel's says his nationality is Hispanic & Italian-American, which of course lends him to being cast in Hispanic-type roles. Noel is single, his stated favorite color is blue, favorite food sunflower seeds and favorite actor Joe Pesci. With that combination, he just might be a good candidate for NBC's "Queer-Eye-for-the Straight-Guy! But seriously, with his piercing dark eyes, it's hard to believe that Noel would have difficulty getting a date. He likes to spend his off-screen time talking to kids about the virtues of staying out of gangs. Other off-the-set activities include helping his friend Manny Jimenez with "Suspect Entertainment" A fledgling talent agency that specializes in "hard-to-find ethnic talent while focusing on tearing down the stereotypes and barriers that stand in the way of ex-gangbangers and barrio kids breaking into the Hollywood scene.moreless
