Mr. Monk and the Class Reunion
Mr. Monk is on the Air
    Mr. Monk and the Astronaut
    Mr. Monk has Jury Duty

In general, I like shows that are either "Trudy-centered", or otherwise show Monk's personality in a realistic manner.
I don't it when shows portray Monk as a caricature of himself, acting silly and all. It is sometimes a fine line, but when the writers get it right, it's great.

Definitely "Mr. Monk Takes His Medicine".  Tony Shalhoub is so hilarious in that episode.  And it is so heartbreaking when Monk can't see Trudy and Sharona asks Monk "What happened to the Monk?" and Monk says "Trudy didn't like him."

For me it's Mr. Monk and the Kid. That one I thought was sweet and funnyI really like his relationship with the kid, but also had a lot of emotion, especially at the end which was just a bit heartbreaking.

    I've changed my favorites:
    1. Biggest Fan has to be the greatest "Monk" ever, not for any or a few great scenes, but for the number of good laughs per minute. I thought it was brilliant "Monk." I loved the banter and quips between Natalie and Marci.
    2. Gets a New Shrink -- also brilliant and a lot of funny laughs. So many.
    3. The Actor -- good throughout, deep too. I liked the remark at the end -- that the Actor quit making the movie because he found it too dark, so instead he went to England to play "Hamlet."

My previous best picks were Earthquake, Vacation and 12th Man.

I also thought Mr Monk and the Rapper was good. A favorite of the last season anyway. Snoop Dogg is a personal favorite rapper of mine.

Oh, I loved Mr Monk and The Election.
    This is my favorite part:
Harold Krenshaw: (after the captain bites into a coconut donut) Now you have to eat a sugar one.
Stottlemeyer: Don't want a sugar one.
Monk: Then you could take three more coconuts and two chocolate.
Harold: Or two coconuts and two glazed.
Monk: Or he could just eat all of them. That would be easier.
    Harold: That's a good idea.
Stottlemeyer: Or--I could do this. (Mashes the box, folds it up, and pokes a hole in the middle.) There. Now there's one donut. .
