    I will start with a quote from Monk. You tell me who said it and in what season and episode it was in. Then you get to post the next quote and the game continues.

    You mean that's just a regular rock? Son of a **** I stood in line for a half-hour just to touch this stupid thing.

    Stottlemeyer says it to Monk in Mr Monk and the Red Herring (referring to the fact that the moonrock he has been standing in line for had been replaced with an ordinary rock by the bad guys.)

    "One hand washes the other. That's a metaphor I know you can relate to."

    Answer (I could be wrong): said by Sharona in "Monk Goes to the Circus."

    ===================

    Question: who said and in what episode: "Someone is killing the world record holders -- one at a time."

    So close! Right episode, but wrong character. It was Monk to Sharona. Though she said something similar directly back, until Benjy intervened..lol!

    Disher to Stottlemeir in Mr. Monk and the very very old man. (It was one of Disher's insane theories)

    Adrien Monk you're not the craziest person in the room

    Answer: Sharona said it to Monk in the "12th Man" episode of season #2. For a long time this was one of my three favorite episodes (that and "Earthquake" and "Vacation.") Sharona said it while Monk and her were interviewing the repairman who fell off the roof, which resulted in a pipe being permanently imbedded in his head, which resulted in his frequent mental lapses like constantly answering the phone even though it wasn't ringing. Very funny scene. ... ... ... He sued the Babcocks (the home owners), which led to the jury trial (that is where the title of the episode came from -- 12 "men" on a jury. ... ..... ..... Did Sharona say "Adrian Monk........."? She almost only refers to him as "Adrian."

    ============================

    New Question: who said to Monk, "you might be the happiest person here!" ? What episode?
