    Here's a petition! Please sign!

I understand if they don't want to keep doing the weekly show but it would be great if they kept the characters around. Maybe for a couple tv movies or maybe even a spin-off show of some kind! The characters are too good to let them go!

Do not get me wrong, I love Monk and would like to keep it going forever but this kind of show is good for one hour, a movie might be stretching it too much.

Surprisingly, the petition already has 121 signatures to it.

I'm all for fans not wanting the show to end, but it isn't that USA canceled the show, but it was actually a mutual decision between the creators / writers / actors and the network.

We don't even know how the series is going to end anyway. Will Monk find Trudy's killer? Maybe not. There is a possibility they would come back for an hour special or so to wrap it up, but maybe not. Maybe everything will be wrapped up nicely in the final couple of episodes and that will end it properly.

I say, don't pressure the creators into anything they don't have planned already. They are the people behind the show. They know what's best for it. And trust me, they probably don't want to see it end, just like all of us. But there is a correct time to do so - and that time is now.

yea even tony was tired of getting those emmys when others he thought deserved em but i doubt this would happen sooner rather than later cuz whenever fans talk about these things they ended up being just that talk ala the buffy movies
