That's what I dislike about America.
They never finish a season in 1 go, unlike European shows.

I Hear ya on that the networks like to cancel our shows even mid way when rating even skew a lil, stargate Sg-1 was like that it skewed and they cancelled it now they are doing it to atlantis i dont think i could handle monk going off air it is one of the top rated shows i watch and is the only one i watch on usa, all of thees networks need to pull their heads out their rear and focus on fan based and sure enough its about the money, maybe Usa should change their motto from "characters welcome" to "Characters Cancelled"

That was a pathetic attempt at jabbing America. If monk was in Europe, it would only be 12 episodes every 16 months.

    Wow, are we being touchy.
And it isn't 12 episodes every 16 months.

At least Europe shows a season in 1 go, without a break. Except a 1 week break because of the stupid Eurovision song festival.

What I mean with not in 1 go is that most USA shows show a season, while the rest of the season is still in production.
Either show a season when it is finished or do not show it at all.

I still have the withdrawel symptons of almost 1 entire year of no Avatar the Last Airbender, because Nick wanted to show more eps of the gay sponge.

I like the split seasons for monk and other USA shows. It allows the shows to be shown more often in the year. Shorter breaks.

There are shows like Lost. 9 month breaks in between episodes, but then you get all of the seasons episodes without itnerruption
