  • War can do a lot to a society, but does it also include vampires? The episode is about two men who are apart of military outspot responsible for preventing a nuclear explosion, but also the population perhaps is undergoing one as well.moreless

The episode is pretty cool actually, but really doesn't show monsters that are hiding in a closet, or inside of a laboratory, it's monsters, that are outside waiting from I guess, that very beginning, and they don't care about who gets hurt. Two men are running an outpost, outside of looks very much like New Mexico, if you look at the background closely, and the unintentional movie clip that's show of a nuclear explosion. They don't realize it yet, but the environment, is becoming plagued with unseen well, vampires, you might say, and they just keep getting closer, and closer until the end, which is the most simple premise for the episode, and it is still a very good episode, and I found out it's one of the best ones, before the show ended, which wasn't that long after this one, I think, and although like many of the episodes, doesn't give a much of a care about scientific rationality, it could possibly be a real classic, depending on your opinion. Also the vamps are scary and the makeup job is excellent even for a cheesy tv anthology, and although they don't get the picture until about the end, the idea of them just waiting, even before the nuclear catastrophe, gives the feel that kept the show scary, and also good taste, if you understand the episode.moreless
