      • Paul Fox: It's one of our most popular programmes.
Paul Fox, the controller of BBC-1 in 1971, played a key role in keeping the BBC censors from brushing up on the Pythons too much. The Pythons paid Fox back with two credits. One is Terry Jones' impersonation of Fox near the end of the program. The other is during the "Mr. & Mrs. Brian Norris' Ford Popular" film. In researching Hounslow, Mr. Norris reads The Lady with the Naked Skin by Paul Fox Jnr.
