The Ronettes were an amazing girl group of the 60's."Be My Baby" was an awesome song, that was played during a very pivotal scene on "Moonlighting".The information on the page is wrong,Estelle Bennett unfortunately did die,but it was her sister Veronica "Ronnie" Bennett Spector who was the lead singer of the Ronettes and she was also the one married to music producer Phil Spector.Phil Spector, created the wall of sound but it was Ronnie'S amazingly unique voice that brought it to life not her sister Estelle.Still, the passing of Estelle is very sad and a great loss to the people who love the music of The Ronettes. crawford47
