  • I LOVED THIS EPISODE! About time for another Dipesto Adventure and it was even better than the Murder train episode! Much! :D

This episode was a total opposite from the one before it. I wasn't very pleased with that one and maybe it was a little because we were always focusing on David and Maddie when all along there was another character we really haven't had much insight into except for that murder train episode. That would be a Miss Agnes Dipesto! Sometimes too much of a good thing (David and Maddie bickering) is just that too much! I think the writers had a great idea to give us a break from the leads and let us have a different adventure with the sweet secretary of Blue Moon Investigations. Maddie decides to give the recently depressed Agnes her ticket to a detectives' banquet to give a little spice to Miss Dipesto's usually mundane world. Well, our little rhymer gets more than a little spice. She gets a make-over (with the help of a previous seen dress of Maddie's with the blonde literally making Agnes into herself) a cute guy who dances and then kisses her while leaving his "number' behind. The guy was sooo cute and I thought he was perfect for our Agnes. If only things could have turned out better and we could have had this guy instead of Viola in the future. Oh well, not mean to be because he ends up dead and then Agnes meets another guy and two goons looking for the "number' she was given earlier. She actually falls for the new guy even though he gives her truth serum. Strange. Good thing though because he turns out to be a good guy who saves the day by saving Agnes from becoming laundry and killed by the two goons. A good little adventure for Miss Dipesto and a great break from the norm for the audience. Cute ending with Maddie saying the writers need to give us bigger roles for the next episode. The show is beginning to break the fourth wall quite often now which might be because of the productions problems the show had and resulted to making fun of itself maybe because of it. Great episode none the less. :Dmoreless
  • Ms. DiPesto gets a taste of the investigative life but does little investigating. She's a victim of mistaken identity and is caught between a CIA investigation and having one helluva an exciting day!moreless

    8.0
Lots of DiPesto and little of David and Maddie in this episode. However, Agnes really impressed me with her great acting and zany, well-written lines. I liked the story and it held me which I thought it wouldn't because it was not centered around David and Maddie. David still got a chance to get in some great quips "That guy's got some appetite" and "She's having a nooner, I mean a niner." (sorry, I don't have the exact wording)moreless
  • The humble secretary gets far more than she bargained for when she stands in for her bosses at an event for detectives.

    8.3
Agnes Dipesto answers the phone, types letters, takes care of the mail and generally makes sure the engine that is Blue Moon runs smoothly at all times. Now, however, that engine is making the kind of funny noises that make you bring the car to the shop.

Agnes is unhappy; it seems her work goes unappreciated, and all the exciting tasks fall to her supervisors. Opportunity wears the strangest disguises: Dipesto is given a chance to attend the ball for the state private investigators' association. All right!

Fun may not be the only thing on the menu. Agnes is swept off her feet by one of the guests at the dance, but the happy mood is dissipated when the road leads to intrigue and skulduggery galore.

Agnes will have to draw on more than adroit rhymes to save the day.moreless
