After a disagreement over how much of a raise David should get on their one year anniversary working together goes overboard, Maddie hurts David when she says he's never really solved a case. He's hurt so much he's determined to prove to her that he can solve one when he meets a hooker who wants to tell him about one of her clients dirty deeds. Well, a different dirty deed. He talks in his sleep about the murders him and other nefarious people are involved in. David gets the bright idea to use the hooker to get info on murders and suddenly David's got himself in too deep. His plan works but it works too well! All the fame and recognition he receives drives a wedge between Maddie and himself. He hardly ever sees her even though she's right across the room from him. He misses her terribly and her him. When she finally comes to apologize for what she said earlier David just wants out of the mess. Unfortunately this is David we're talking about and when he messes up he messes up BIG. Maddie finds out the wrong way, that he's not been solving these murders but getting all his info the cheap way, right along with the sleep talking guy finding out .Of course the show can't end without an outrageous bar room brawl where in the end David asks Maddie if she's mad and she replies, "No, I'm not mad" then decks him and says,"I'm livid!" Pretty good episode. Better than some but not as good as others.moreless
