Maddie's father wonders what's up with his daughter but Maddie stays silent. Back in L.A. David and Bert form a partnership to track down a man who supposedly ditched his bride to be at the church. Turns out the bride only faked the whole having a groom who was actually a pilot with a family. She just wanted a trust fund or something. Anyways, the new partners have one of those famous screwball chases. This time using an airplane to track down the bad gal. During this whole scene which I'm sure was used to liven up the dreary, dramatic tone of this episode, all I could think about was all the adventures David and Maddie have had in other seasons. This was suppose to be them two having the adventure but we get David and Herbert instead. It was funny at times but as of now Bert just isn't a good replacement for Maddie. He's okay but we have to face it. No one can replace Maddie. At the end David finally talks to Maddie even it it is in letter form at least it's something. He updates Maddie on what's happening in the office. She thinks of when David played limbo. We don't get to see the fun loving David so much now because of the Maddie obsession. I wish these two could have some middle ground too. Oh, now I'm sounding like Maddie! Anyways, wouldn't it be nice to have Maddie totally in love with David and confident and David confident and happy and playing about the office because of it! With this relationship i guess we can't have both anymore which is sad because I do believe THIS is what fans really wanted. David ends the letter by telling her this is all crap and that he is missing her. Poor David. Will I ever stop saying that in this series?!moreless
