    Dear Friends:

I found a review on this show by braniac76, and I totally agree with it. So, does this mean people who like this show love to make fun of the lord? I can't believe God won't condemn the evil creator who created this blasphemy.

I don't think the show is blasphemous at all. Instead it pokes fun at the people who take religion way too seriously. I think this is a terrific show!

I like the show too. But I don't think its making fun of God at all. It just shows how ridiculous people can be about religon. Nothing wrong with people religious at all but some people just are... (I could not come up with a word rright now to desribe it)

I think it just shows a kid who happens to take everything he hears in church literally.

Yes, can you believe it? There are actually some people out there who don't share the too-often assumed unanimous decision that the supposed Christian God is real. For shame.

Holy bleep! God isn't funny, he's the most sacred creature in the universe and we should, never, ever laugh at anyone who loves god and does what he wants us to do! In case you couldn't tell...I was being sarcastic

Ok first of all I don't think God is going to care about a stupid cartoon. I'm sure if he did then he would destroy and get rid of this show all together. And this show doesn't make fun of God it just uses all of the Churches teachings and puts it through a young boy's perspective. He believes in God enough to try out God's tests and to break the 10 commandments and to do stuff liek that but he isn't making fun of god.

seriously, if you think that Moral Orel (ie. the whole show) is offensive, then the type of humour is lost on you, maybe just going over your head. Technically, the show does not negatively portray 'God', in fact it doesn't even really mention him. The same goes with Jesus. However, what the show really is about is the fact that Christianity is a convenient religion; pretty much everything about Catholicism revolves around convenience. Dino is using the town and characters as a parody of Christians. All the scenarios are typically over exaggerated obviously, but at the core of most episodes' plot lays a pretty simple idea, metaphor etc...

Originally, Dino just wanted the show to be a parody/satire of 50s/60s shows like Leave It To Beaver etc. but then decided to put the notion of faith in.

Religious much? I don't like this show either. But honestly, do you think people do what they watch? Cause I don't.

True. It's like expecting Harry Potter to get upset when he sees bad fan-fiction, in my opinion.

In addition, this isn't about any god. It's about the religion itself and it's followers.

I would love to see what would happen if these guys did Moral Mohammad - they would start a real live Jihad. A few Dutch cartoons sparked riots and killings.... It would take a real set of balls for someone to produce an Islamic version of this show (and a death wish to go along with it)

Even a depicton of Mohammad or Allah is punishable by DEATH.

Jeez, you guys don't have to be such douchebags. This person was just asking a question then people go in and say, "There's no God." And the reason God doesn't just come in and destroy the show is because we have free will, duh!

Anyway, I'm highly religious and I don't find this show offensive at all. I go to church every Sunday, I read the Bible and pray everyday. I find the show kind of cute. It's not making a mockery of God or Jesus. It simply shows the events of an over-naive boy and desire to do good.
