    • NOTES (2)

      • With Mr. Bickley made more of a series regular in the 2nd season, Tom Poston is now included on the (new) opening credits.

      • With the arrival of this second season, a number of changes are made within the series's format. A more disco-y version of the theme replaces the quite gentle 1st season version; Fred is said to have sold up the music store to go touring with an orchestra (taking Grandma along with him); and new, much younger characters are introduced (after this story) in Fred and Grandma's place, which station executives decided would make things more "hip". The phrase "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" sums it up perfectly - the changes soon knocked the show from it's 1st season glory, and the producers spent the rest of the show's life trying to repair the damage, with only varying degrees of success.

    • ALLUSIONS (3)

      • While diminutive Mork is inside the mouse-hole, he is surprised by a mouse and then says, "I love Steamboat Willie".

"Steamboat Willie" was an early Disney black and white short, the very first Disney cartoon that made Mickey Mouse famous.

      • The shrinking of Mork is adapted from the classic sci-fi movie The Incredible Shrinking Man.

      • Mork in Wonderland is an allusion to Alice in Wonderland
