      • This episode marks the second time in three episodes that Mork is confused by the question, "What's your sign?"

      • The first episode after the Pilot noted the need for Mork to find a job. This episode aired after 16 episodes taped after it had already aired. Yet this is the first subsequent episode that mentions Mork looking for or holding a job. And the topic will not resurface for another seven episodes in Dr. Morkenstein.

        In order to calm Mork down, Mindy's father uses a move he saw on TV, the Vulcan neck pinch, used by Mr. Spock on the original Star Trek, which is the only version her father could have seen at the time, and it actually worked on Mork.
