Unexplained: Ciaran O'Keeffe's thermographic camera displays sudden large blasts of cold air around a bed, displayed on the screen as large areas of green. Ciaran admits that although he can explain away small increases in cold air as general ambient temperature, he cannot give an explanation as to what would cause the entire room to suddenly be shown as being cold.
Unxeplained: While on a vigil with Stuart in the Desert Tower, Karl sees a clear silhouette moving across a windowed internal walkway around the outside of the room. The figure appeared to stop and lunge itself forwards through the window causing Karl to grab hold of Stuart in alarm. Karl described the figure as wearing a hat shaped like a 'big marshmallow', a description which historian Lesley Smith believed confirmed the ghosts identity as that of Vlad Tepes, a.k.a. Dracula.
Misunderstanding: Yvette tries to speak to Karl and Stuart using the walky-talky, however they've dropped it and can't find it. Stuart repeats the words "keep talking" assuming the message would be relayed to Yvette to keep talking through the walky-talky so they could find it, however she misunderstands thinking they want her to keep talking to ghosts to provoke a reaction.
Testing, testing: After one of the commercial breaks a testcard is accidentally shown exposing the fact the live show is being relayed through BT Tower.
No audience: Due to its overseas broadcast location there was no studio 'hub' for this live event and therefore no audience. Paul Ross, Julian Clegg and Lesley Smith performed their roles within the castle, but remained isolated from the rest of the team.
Interpreter: A Romanian interpreter was employed for the show, she was addressed by Yvette as 'Christina', however her full name did not appear in the credits.
