The killer: Cameron Radcliffe; the victim: Nathan Conroy.
Detectives Flynn and Vega investigate when the body of a young man is found buried in a densely populated urban neighborhood. The investigation has Angie revisiting her experience as a juror. She must also deal with her feelings as Manny heads off on a trip to Europe.
The victim: former boxer Mark "Machine" Mason; the killer: his brother Joey.
"The Machine" is found stabbed to death at the gym he co-owns with his brother Joey, who is wheelchair-bound due to a recent accident. The investigation also involves Mark's wife, Beth, who runs a bar.
The victim, art gallery employee Julia Conrad; the killer, Marian Reeder.
Julia is found murdered with an antique gun while on her morning jogging route. When the weapon is tracked back to memorabilia collector Owen Reeder, he confesses to the crime. Detective Flynn suspects the confession is false when it is inconsistent with the facts.
The killer, building contractor Charles Stanwyck; the victim, post-graduate student Taylor Hollis.
When a young man is found murdered, Flynn and Vega follow the leads from a seedy bar where the victim used to deal methamphetamines to a newly renovated Indian restaurant.
The killer: pediatric surgeon Dr. Monika Harper; the victim: news shop owner and ex-military man Hank Cousineau.
Hank is found in the back of his store, dead from having his throat slit. The investigation first centers on a group of young thugs who were trying to extort money from the store owners. Then, the detectives have a look at Hank's camera, which contains dozens of photos of Dr. Monika Harper and her husband and child. They decide to look deeper into Monika's past and discover a secret she has been hiding all her life.
The killer: AA Member Barry Ketchum; the victim: mortgage broker Eric Chase.
When Eric Chase is found strangled outside his office, Detectives Flynn and Vega focus their investigation on his ex-wife, Claudia Powell, an activist who recently lost a custody battle for their son. The investigation eventually leads Angie to Toronto.
The killer: clothing store clerk Chloe Mighten; the victim: health food guru Jack Bergin
When Jack Bergin is was found dead in his hot tub, evidence initially points to an interrupted break-in. Later, Detectives Flynn and Vega discover evidence that the house had been searched and that the home alarm had been turned off and on numerous times that evening.
The killer: Sarah Muller; the victim: high-priced attorney Shawn Mitchell.
Sarah, a grocery store clerk who is involved in a messy divorce and custody battle kills attorney Shawn in what looks like a home robbery gone wrong. As the investigation unfolds, Angie is preoccupied with her son Manny's on vandalism charges.
The killer: cruise ship terminal customs agent Ben Crewson; the victim: limousine driver Scott Hayward.
When Scott Hayward is found dead in Stanley Park from a single gunshot wound, Detectives Flynn and Vega focus on his last ride, weekly regular Randy Sprague. His route never varied, except for the night of the murder, when it ended with in Stanley Park with Hayward dead.
The killer: mayoral candidate David Jacobs; the victim: high school student Tiffany Greenwood.
Former prosecutor David Jacobs is a popular mayoral candidate. Four weeks before election day, 17-year old Tiffany Greenwood, an occasional babysitter for David and his wife, is killed in a hit and run accident with her ex-boyfriend's car. As the investigation proceeds, Detectives Flynn and Vega wonder why David, in an unofficial capacity, is over-zealously pushing for the ex-boyfriend's prosecution.
The killer: Tom, a high school student; the victim: Glen Martin, a popular singing science teacher at Tom's high school.
Tom, a quiet student, enjoys being invisible so that he can engage in his favorite activity of creeping; breaking into people's homes just for the fun of it.
