  • The strangest episode.

    10
Plot-wise, this has got to be the strangest Mr. Bean episode made. Mr. Bean goes to a rare manuscript library with an order for a specific book. He is brought the medieval tome, turns to a specific illustration with the intent to copy the illustration onto tracing paper. Everything goes hilariously awry, obviously. But...

Why?! He's a childish fool with no job. What were his reasons for needing to copy a specific medieval illustration? that's what I'd like to know. Anyway, that's fridge logic for you. 10/10, I can enjoy a good comedy with a mystery plot.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Revealing: In the extra 'Library' scene, the book that Bean is given already has the loose pages before he has been at them with the knife. (At one point the pages get pushed forward a little bit, meaning that they're not fastened into the book.)

    • Continuity: Just when Mr. Beans' hiccups are over, the guy sitting on the table with him takes his right hand up to the book and his left lower arm is on the table. But after Bean hiccups again he suddenly has his right hand down again and his left hand on his chin.
