In this episode the regular lime green mini is not used, and an orange one is used instead.
At the beach, Bean goes down a lot of steps, and then decides to change into his swimming trunks. However, there is a man wearing sunglasses sitting down in a deckchair, and Mr. Bean doesn't want him to see him changing. He discretely puts his trunks on over his trousers, and very cleverly manages to get them off from underneath.
At the church the hymns sung are 'All Creatures Of Our God" and 'King Eternal Father, Strong To Save.'
Visible crew/equipment: When Mr Bean parks his car outside the examination hall, as he reverses into his spot, you can see a group of plain-clothed crew members pushing the camera as there is a reflection in the window of a nearby car.
Visible crew/equipment: Before the church scene, Mr. Bean drives into the car-park and knocks the blue car off the road. Look at the car closest to the camera, as Mr. Bean reverses, you can see a person and a crane above him reflected in the window. Also, in the blue car's window closest to the camera, you can see dolly tracks.
Freeze-frame moment: When the waiter exits the kitchen, you can see that the kitchen is actually a painted backdrop.
Just before the scene where Mr Bean meets the Queen, the commentary is actually done by Rowan Atkinson.
Revealing: In the extra 'Library' scene, the book that Bean is given already has the loose pages before he has been at them with the knife. (At one point the pages get pushed forward a little bit, meaning that they're not fastened into the book.)
Continuity: Just when Mr. Beans' hiccups are over, the guy sitting on the table with him takes his right hand up to the book and his left lower arm is on the table. But after Bean hiccups again he suddenly has his right hand down again and his left hand on his chin.
Bean does not wear his regular suit in "The Lunch park" and "The horror movie" segments.
In the background of the fourth act there is a mini identical to Mr Bean's visible.
Continuity: When Mr. Bean is trying to get out of the car park through the entrance, he uses a wheelie-bin to simulate a car to get the gate to open. After he's out and shifted the bin, he's blocked in by another car. We see a hand take the next ticket (presumably belonging to the driver of the incoming car) but the car pulling up in front of Mr. Bean is so far away from the ticket machine its not possible for him to take it and drive into the car park in the short amount of time seen, plus we never see or hear anybody get out of the car to get the ticket.
Plot Hole: In the swimming pool scene, we see the female lifeguard swapping places with the male lifeguard on a raised seat by the pool. However, shortly afterwards, he tells everyone to leave the pool and is not on the platform.
Visible crew/equipment: As Mr. Bean goes up the ladder to get to the diving board, the camera follows him, and behind him on the wall you can see the light reflection following him.
When Mr. Bean runs down the path at the park, the film of him looks reversed.
When Mr. Bean sets up his TV, his big clock shows 10:15 through the whole scene that last's at least nine minutes.
The clock also shows 10:15 when Bean packs his trunk ('Mr. Bean Rides Again'). Maybe these scenes were recorded the same day?
This episode has no audience laughter.
Goof: When Mr Bean is in the park, taking stuff out of his suitcase, he takes out his steering wheel to his mini. However, when he was parking his mini and gets out and leaves, you can clearly see the steering wheel as he walks off, having not removed it.
The A Team makes an appearance in the form of Mr Bean's duvet.
Goof: When Mr Bean drives to the dentist and is trying to dress himself, outside the window, the scenery keeps changing dramatically between shots. In some shots he is driving along a single lane highway with buildings on the sides and in other shots he his driving along a divided highway with no buildings on the sides, all in the time it takes for him to get dressed.
