Mr.I.Magination

Show Summary

Mr.I.Magination is a classic children's show from the Colombian Broadcasting System that takes kids on an imaginary trip on a magic train. The show's host, Mr.I.Magination (Paul Tripp), gets together some curious children who compete each week to take a ride on I.Magination's train by playing word games. The winners then select two professional occupations, prompting the host to play his magic flute to open the train's door. The train transports the group to Imagination Land to meet a real-life person who works in the professions that the kids chose. The weekly guests who visit the show include a fireman, a lion tamer, a navy test pilot and a police detective. Celebrities also stop by the show throughout the series. Walter Matthau does a song and dance routine, and Richard Boone sings the kids a song form his new album. CBS films the show live each week, and Academy Award winning actor, Yul Brynner, directs Mr.I.Magination in its first two seasons.
