  • I remember this best for Courtney knocking down microphone stand on the floor as she walked off stage, mumbling "Happy F****ng Valentine's Day". It was the first Valentine's Day since Kurt had passed in 1994. It was Haunting and I'll NEVER forget it.moreless

Best "Unplugged" I ever saw. Seemed like a natural follow up to incredible "Unplugged" Nirvana did a few years earlier. Knowing what happened between then and this show, you could feel the tension in the air. Recorded Valentine's Day 1995, the first Valentine's Day since Kurt passed. Courtney was in semi trance the whole show. It was haunting, amazing, sad. I couldn't stop watching it.....you get the picture. I will best remember Courtney walking off stage at end of the show, knocking microphone stand on the floor, mumbling as she left 'Happy F****ng Valentines Day." I will NEVER forget that.moreless
