  • Chris Brown = Simply Amazing Britney Spears = Simply Disastrous

Ok Britney Spears really tried to ruin her career and that was the low point of the evening. Chris Brown was the high point his performance was unbelievably amazing and when Rihanna came out looking fine it was just incredible. Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, and Nelly Furtado really put it down. Linkin Park rocked OUT. When I first heard the song "Bleed It Out" and every other song off of Minutes to Midnight with the exception of "What I've Done" I was very disappointed even angry that they would change their whole sound. However, after watching the performance the song is starting to grow on me. The performance was awesome. The thing witht the suites was a really cool idea, but it would have been better to see more of it. Nonetheless I enjoyed the show and can't stop talking about Chris Brown's performance.
  • Britney Spears career implodes and Kanye West goes berserk.

Watching Britney Spears career implode was a marvel to behold, the audience looked like they were in physical pain watching her on stage; some of them had the strangest look on their faces. Maybe Britney should have shaved her wig off on stage? That would have been funny. I feel bad for her kids, imagine having a mom like Britney. Well, at least she can afford top notch shrinks to help the kids deal with her insanity.

Kanye West spazzed out saying he should have been in her place and wasnt because he's black. Ok, Kanye is famous for making comments like this, but that was silly even for him. As for the rest of the show? Its a reminder of what MTV used to be before reality show programming ruined the network. I really didnt watch much of it other than the Britney implosion - sometimes you just cant take your eyes of a train wreck in progress.
