Show Summary

Mugshots is a crime documentary TV series from TruTV that showcases high-profile crimes and their court trials that follows. TV personalities Stu Daly and James Naughton narrate early in the season, starting the series with the profile of ex-mobster, Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano. Daly narrates how a former underboss of the Gambino crime family became an FBI informant against mafia boss, John Gotti. Actor Arthur Nascarella plays Gravano in the reenactments during the broadcast. In the next segment, Naughton fills in for Daly, narrating the Beth Carpenter story about a prestigious lawyer who got life in prison after killing her brother-in-law. By mid-season, voice actor Gene Galusha takes over the narration, profiling Mary Kay Fualaau's romance with a thirteen-year-old boy, which led to murder, and the financial criminal, Martin Frankel, who defrauded his investors and insurance companies. Each episode starts with dramatizations of the crimes and ends with archive footage of a judge sentencing the accused.
