Goof: Instead of "terifi", the card that Clifford reads says "teriei".
Waldorf: Did you see that stiff, lifeless, robotic acting?
Statler: By Lincoln?
Waldorf: No, by the rest of the cast.
(they laugh)
Waldorf: Actually I like Lincoln.
Statler: You should like him. You voted for him.
(they laugh again)
Clifford: Yo, Rizzo. This musical number is a hit.
(A cannonball flies from nowhere and whacks Clifford square in the face)
Rizzo: Yeah, a direct hit. (laughs)
Clifford's intro: A show that can be summed up in one word: supamagimarvelmagniterifibrillcoolwity.
(the shot cuts to the cue card guy holding an extremely long sign with the word; he collapses under the weight)
Running gag: In the first half of Muppets Tonight, Gonzo had a musical number involving cannonballs. After the cannonballs were shot out of cannons, they always collided with someone's head.
In the second half of Muppets Tonight, Dr. Honeydew's invention, The Abraham Lincoln cyborg, would appear and wreak havoc.
Clifford: Supamagimarvelmagniterifibrillcoolwity.
This is an obvious pun of Mary Poppins's famous word, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
