We've seen a lot of UK imports turned into American shows. Some successfully (What Not to Wear) and some not so successfully (Coupling) - but I'd love someone in America to give this series a shot.
First, I can't think of any crime series in America that doesn't eventually shift focuses to the detectives trying to break the case. And I can't think of any American anthology series that wasn't sci-fi or horror based. Crime is crime, motive is motive, murder is murder - this series (assuming decent directors, actors and budget) could be remade with only minimal changes to the scripts (eg - replacing "flat" with "house").
This seems like a no-brainer. Original writing and perspective, original concept and seasons of scripts already written. What a great show!moreless
