Murder One: Diary of a Serial Killer

Show Summary

Murder One: Diary of a Serial Killer was actually the final six episodes of Steven Bochco's Murder One, repackaged and aired as a miniseries after the show was cancelled by ABC. Picking up where the show left off, Diary of a Serial Killer finds Jimmy Wyler (Anthony LaPaglia) recruited by his dying mentor to represent Clifford Banks, a vigilante dubbed the "Street Sweeper" who is accused of the murders of 17 criminals. Wyler and his team wrestle with their obligation to defend a confessed (and unbalanced) murderer, especially when they discover evidence that could allow Banks to go free. These final episodes were released, along with the rest of Season 2 of Murder One on DVD.
