This episode is one of the least shown on television repeats but is a good one. A congressman from Maine is dead and Jessica is enlisted to temporarily replace him given her stature in the state of Maine and lack of political ambition she is the one that the Governor wants to go to Washington. Of course, when JB get there she discovers that something fishy is going on and that the Congressman's death was not as innocent as it appeared. Her inherited staff members have some troubles of their own and Jessica wants to do right by the residents of Maine regardless of what her predecesor was going to do. She gives a rousing speech in a committee meeting that saves Maine from more development and solves the murder of a young woman who knew too much about the Congressman's death in the meantime. It was not a spectacular episode but it was a decent story with politcal intrigue.
